Places To Visit In San Diego

La Jolla Sun Jim Cove.jpg

Sun Jim Cave, La Jolla

Sunny Jim Cave is a historical landmark located in La Jolla (inside the Cave Store linked above) and can be easily missed. It is the only cave in the area that can be accessed by land. The cave has been around for 110 years and provides a miniature adventure with its low ceilings, 145 step descend and dim lighting makes you feel like a child on the search for buried treasure! The cave was named by Frank Baum the author of The Wizard of Oz. I think it looks like Count Olaf from a Series of Unfortunate Events.
